Link Relay

What is link relay? Keep the same link moving

Keep the same link when passing something to the next person. Once B has received and verified the content, cached it successfully, and kept the page online, B can provide it to C.

PROCESS

Follow the link

01

A shares the link

Add text or one file, open a channel, send the link to B, and approve access when prompted.

02

B receives and stays online

Wait for receipt and verification to finish. With a successful cache, B can become a temporary source.

03

C receives from B

B keeps the page online and passes on the same link. After A leaves, C can receive from B while B remains available.

A PRACTICAL HANDOFF

Keep one link for the next person

Share event notes with a group one person at a time. A completed receiver can pass the same link to the next person.

Relay means the browser providing the content can change. Each person does not need to upload a new copy and generate a new link.

BEFORE PASSING IT ON

Finish receiving first

A source must hold the complete verified cache and remain available. A page that is still receiving, failed to cache, or stopped answering cannot provide the next handoff.

BOUNDARIES

Before you share

Stay available

Relay needs a complete cache and an online source; replies need the relevant participant online.

Share with care

The complete link grants access. Share it only with people you trust.

No server file copy

Content is encrypted on your device. Connection services and a limited ciphertext relay may still be involved.

FAQ

Link Relay FAQ

Is link relay only for files?

No. The current app supports plain text and single files. Continued relay depends on receipt, caching, and online availability.

Can A always close the page safely?

No. Another completed receiver, such as B, must already be available. Cache removal, browser suspension, or a network loss can interrupt relay.

Does each handoff create a new link?

The point of link relay is to keep the same link while an available browser takes over providing the content.

A link to receive, reply, and pass on.
